Teastick – Teestock. Have seen it yesterday I found it quite nice. You can just place enough tea inside the shovel for a single cup. Otherwise it would be much to compressed and the aroma will not be set free.

On my way home from work. On my new job it is about ten minutes to walk from home or drive by tram for about two minutes and walk the stations and waiting there until the sky turns red.
The SLR magic behaves completely strange, but in a funny way. It is more or less a matter of accident to focus properly;) See some more photos on my flickr stream.
Today I received my copy of the SLR Magic 35mm f/1.7 lense. A fun lens for about 100 €. But it does not feel that bad at all. The barrel and the mount feel quite solid. Even the lens hood and the cap are made of metal. First photos I took are not too sharp and focus plane is not a real plane at all and quite selective. I guess, it will be fun to shoot outside. So be prepared ;)
I will have some more words on it in a couple of days.
On my last leave day I have been at my parent’s home. And of cause we had a cup of tea.
I decided for this photograph to upload because I like the its picturesque characters although it has a certain lack of sharpness.
OK, I know, picturesque images are quite boting. You look at them and probably you might say »nice« but after a minute you forgot about it. And of cause photography should me more than just reproducing styles from fine art or painting.
But sometimes I still like painterliness photographs.
»Im Schatten der Halde« which means »in the shadow of the dump«. It is kind of a local joke, Kornharpen – where the photograph is taken – is right beside a waste disposal site.
Since a while I store my CD collection in a couple of Ikea Benno shelfs. I found this the most useful way to store a larger number of discs. These are the ones to the left and right of my kitchen door.
