Waterspout having an eye over the city park of Bochum. Since we got freezing temperature the water is turned off and the pond beside is slightly frozen.

Essen central station rear entrance. Usually I do not leave the train in Essen, but today I did. Last year the station experienced a complete renovation and I was a somehow curious.

I really like the Zeiss Planar 1.4/85mm for its great optical resolution, build quality and sharpness even if it is wide open. But this is the first lens I really get frustrated by the crop factor of APS-C sensors. After using this lens on a Pentax ME Super film camera for a while I got so used to its true 85 mm behavior and I simply can not rethink of it as an 127 mm lens.
Although I have to admit the depth of field behavior resembling an aperture of about F/2 while using a sensor with crop factor 1.5 is still quite pleasant;)
